1. Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), 0.012%
Function: Antimicrobial and odor control
- Natural origin: HOCl is the molecule your pet’s white blood cells produce to destroy invading bacteria
- Works against the bacteria and yeast behind smelly, itchy ears
- Removes odor at the source instead of masking it with fragrance
- Widely used in veterinary wound, skin and eye care because it is effective against germs yet gentle on living tissue
Why this dose: 0.012% is strong enough to fight germs and gentle enough for raw, scratched ear skin.
2. Deionized Water
- Ultra-purified base, free from minerals and impurities that could irritate sensitive ear tissue
3. Bendable Applicator
- Designed for the L-shaped anatomy of a pet’s ear canal
- Lets the rinse reach where wax builds up, without pushing anything deep
What We Deliberately Left Out
- Alcohol: stings raw, scratched ears and dries the skin
- Antibiotics and steroids: not for daily use without a vet
- Parabens, dyes, phthalates, propylene glycol and added fragrance
Why Ears Get So Bad
A dog’s ear canal is L-shaped, so wax, moisture and debris get trapped at the bend. Bacteria and yeast love that warm, damp spot. Floppy ears, swimming and allergies make it worse. A gentle weekly rinse keeps the canal clean and dry before trouble starts.
A cleaning and maintenance rinse, not a medication. If your pet has an active infection, severe pain, discharge, loss of balance or a suspected ruptured eardrum, see your vet first.
